Online training this Autumn
UCD Agile will continue to offer online Lean training to all employees this Autumn.
Lean methodology is a practical approach to improving processes, reducing waste and boosting customer satisfaction. There are a number of different levels of Lean training available so you can choose a level that suits your needs.
White Belt training: Wednesday 4th November (9.45-12.30)
If you are new to the concept, we recommend you sign up to the White Belt training. This provides a general introduction to Lean in UCD. There is a short ‘pre-read’ document which will be sent prior to the course in order to help set your objectives.
Yellow Belt training: Tuesday 3rd and Thursday 5th November
If you are looking for more in-depth exploration of Lean Six Sigma and have a project in mind, Yellow Belt will provide you with a good understanding of the concepts and key tools of Lean Six Sigma.
The course consists of 2 x 2-3 hour virtual sessions – you must attend both sessions to complete the training. There is also a short Programme Introduction session.
- Programme Introduction: Monday 19th October from 10.00-10.25am. Pre-read & short questions for learners to answer in advance of the course.
- Tuesday 3rd November: 10.00-12.30pm – 2.5 hours VC via Zoom
- Individual work to be completed by learners
- Thursday 5th November: 9.30am-12.30pm including pre-course group work in breakout groups
UCD staff can book a place on one of our upcoming remote training days through the booking centre in InfoHub.
