Main event 14 March 2019
The event creates an opportunity for colleagues from across UCD to get involved and share their experiences of working on collaborative projects and initiatives across teams/units – there are lots of different ways to do this including parallel sessions, poster presentations and networking opportunities.
The spine of the day is formed around our keynote speaker and our plenary session speaker – check here for the overall shape of what they will contribute:
- Manley Hopkinson, author and internationally acclaimed speaker… as well as sailor, polar trecker, and adventurer.
- Aine McCleary, President of the Institute of Banking and Director, Distribution Channels at Bank of Ireland
Work Smarter Together 2019 will take place in the UCD Student Centre, mostly in the atrium by the Astra Hall, with the Cinema and Fitzgerald Chamber in the new student center being used for some of the breakout sessions.
The poster exhibition is in the atrium of the Student Centre, by the Astra Hall. The poster gallery can be viewed here.

PDF and PowerPoint versions of the slides have been linked below. You may not, in some cases, get the full effect of the presentations in PDF but it is the ‘cleanest’ way to view the presentations. Some have multiple image overlays or slides notes, better seen Google Slides, though this can lose out on some fonts/images. Contact the authors if neither of these options works for you.
We do not have copies of the keynote and plenary sessions.
