Welcome to the December 2023 WST Newsletter
Welcome to the December edition of the Work Smarter Together Newsletter – ‘One thing to know about…. In 2024’. In this newsletter we asked colleagues from across UCD to tell you a little bit about what their team does and what you can expect from them in the coming year. We hope this will be an opportunity for you to get to know more about some of the areas of the University you, perhaps, don’t always get the chance to interact with.
In keeping with this theme, we in Agile are very much looking forward to sharing our new strategy with you in 2024, in the meantime, our Emma Mescall has shared some insight into what we offer… beyond the belts.
In this newsletter you’ll also see that the ‘ecology of a project’ theme has been given another slot (learn more about the Advance project), alongside the ‘day in the life’ feature (hear from Gavin Nolan). We will continue to evolve the kind of content we provide in the newsletter based on your feedback, so if you want to see more teams featured in future editions be sure to let us know.
As always, this newsletter aims to highlight communities of practice across UCD. In this edition we bring you updates from MENU, who are celebrating their 5th birthday, and the Digital Literacy CoP.
There is plenty more to come from Work Smarter Together, and Agile, in 2024. We look forward to working with you all in the New Year, and hope you enjoy the Christmas break.
