Each of the sessions allows for questions and answers so there will be the opportunity to explore in more detail some of what comes up during the session itself. But remember – the UCD presenters are all colleagues of yours so they are only every a phone call or email away if you want to follow up with them after the event.

Session 2: Researching smarter together
Location: E2.16 The research community in UCD is wide, diverse and always evolving, with the same kind of variety and change to be seen in our broader environment too. This session looks at how we shape the research ecosystem in response: creating communities, responding to needs, building tools, leading the way. |

Session 3: Reaching out in new ways
Location: H1.49 When we look at our community of colleagues and students across the campus, sometimes we see distinct clusters that need particular supports or attention. Four areas show how they recognised a group with particular needs and came up with new ways of meeting them. |

Session 4: Explosive ideas
Location: H2.38 Sometimes a simple idea or basic need creates the unexpected and makes the unimagined possible. What happens when you draw the ‘peripheral’ into the mainstream, innovate in the undergraduate curriculum, mesh experts and expertise, or create a bees elective? This session is one way to find out. |
